Bob Luby

Bob Luby

Bob Luby serves as an independent Kinetic trusted advisor. Mr. Luby is a Managing Director of True North Equities. Prior to joining True North Equities, Mr. Luby served as a Vice President in IBM Global Business Services, where he led the Public Sector Consulting Practice. This practice included several thousand professionals, with signings in excess of $1.1B. Prior to leading the IBM Public Sector Consulting Practice, Mr. Luby led the IBM Supply Chain Management Services practice for the public sector. During his tenure, the practice included over 1,000 logistics and supply chain management professionals, with annual signings in excess of $400M. Mr. Luby has over 30 years of logistics, supply chain management and complex program management experience. He has led several programs and initiatives with the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. He was also previously a partner at Coopers & Lybrand and a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Luby holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the United States Naval Academy and Masters Degrees in Engineering Management from Northwestern University and Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Craig Furuta

Craig Furuta

Craig Furuta serves as an independent Kinetic trusted advisor. Mr. Furuta is a Director at a big four professional services firm and a leading consulting industry expert. Mr. Furuta’s passion is connecting the best ideas to assist with the innovation of people, processes, and technology with the resources to make them happen. He speaks the languages of the executive boardroom, functional business analysts, the financial and accounting analysts, the IT department and the audit committee. He works with these business stakeholders to facilitate simple and pragmatic discussions so that they can achieve their goals. Mr. Furuta is a certified IT system auditor and examines business issues with the discipline of a system auditor who has worked in the functional community. He is also a certified project manager, and has managed large portfolios of projects and programs and has the ability to articulate their value to the executive level. His specialties include SAP Implementation, Large Project Management, e-Procurement, Business Process Improvement, Procurement to Pay, Supply Chain Management and Audit Readiness.
Dr. Gebisa Ejeta

Dr. Gebisa Ejeta

Dr. Gebisa Ejeta serves as an independent, Kinetic trusted advisor for our development practice. Dr. Ejeta is a world renowned scientist, international development expert and distinguished professor at Purdue University. He received the 2009 World Food Prize- widely considered the Nobel Prize for Agriculture. He was appointed by President Obama as a Presidential Science Envoy. Dr. Ejeta has served on numerous science and program review panels, technical committees, and advisory boards of major research and development organizations including the international agricultural research centers (IARCs), the Rockefeller Foundation, the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, and a number of national and regional organizations in Africa. He was a member of the team that launched the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa, a joint effort of the Rockefeller and Gates Foundation. Dr. Ejeta was also designated special advisor to USAID Administrator Dr. Rajiv Shah.
Brian Cairns

Brian Cairns

Brian Cairns serves as an independent Kinetic trusted advisor. Brian Cairns served as Director of Business Development of IBM Global Business Services and Director of Business Development at SAIC. Brian brings decades of experience in identifying opportunities, marketing business and selling to public sector clients. Prior to the private sector, Brian was the Deputy Chief of Staff (SES) and Founding Member of the Department of Homeland Security under Secretary Tom Ridge. Prior to that appointment, Brian was Deputy Secretary at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development. In Pennsylvania, Brian directly participated in economic development deals across the state and around the world. He possess almost two decades of marketing, sales and business development expertise.
